a few Chanel Catwalk makeup look

over the years Chanel has house some incredible makeup looks. We have seen some that are settle and some that are bright.

this look was done by Peter phillips, the makeup was kept simple (with a light fresh foundation look.). he then went on to creating a cat eye look using black linear. for the lower lush he used chunky glitter.

evaluation

this look compliment the clothing, it has been kept simple and clean. i fill that is is a perfect representation of Chanel and what it represents (simple but classy). as i makeup artist who love the simple looks i would definitely enjoy recreating this look.   

this look was created by Peter Phillips in 2012 Chanel Paris  carwalk looks. the look is very avent- gard and futuristic, staying true to the them of the show. The skin was kept simple and the hair was kept sleek and away from the face .

once again Chanel has stayed true to its reputation of class and simplicity. this look is elegant and the eyebrow gives it a spark.  i personally love the sleek back hair. i fill its achievable and gives the whole look a clean fill to look to it.

this is a chanel 2011 couture Autumn/ winter look. model have a smoky eye and a strip of lace across the models face. the rest of the makeup is kept simple.

Evaluation 

this look has a sense of mystery to it. the hair had been kept simple and messy with some of the hair on the face. the look cleverly compliments the outfit.

this look is from the Chanel 2013 ready to wear spring/ summer collection. the look is all about the eyes. just like all of Chanel catwalk look the skin has been kept simple and all the concentration is on the eyes. the eyes are coverts in 6 different bold eye colours. in addition all the models ware wearing shot wigs with a fringe on them.

Evaluation
i found this look every interesting. though as always Chanel has allowed the eyes to be the canter of the makeup attention . the eyebrows are covered in dark black colour and also the lid and the lover lash. this use of black in this areas has helped pull all the colours together.

Looking at the different Chanel looks, one this that is consistent it the fact that the eyes are the canter point of the makeup, everything is kept simple.  

without fall this year both ready to wear and couture collection has not disappointed. The bold electric blue eyes and also sunglasses seen in the ready to wear catwalk looks, complimented the overall look well. for the couture loos the eyes were lined at the socket area of the eye and the line was extended to outwards to create a flick. the same was dome for the bottom of the eye.
