What is beauty and the bland

In this blog i aim to look at one makeup brand in great detail. There are so many great brands to chose from, brands that are well known and some that are not as well exposed yet very good as well. one thing i am wonting in the bland I chose it for it to have rich history and also good reputation.

There are a number of bland out there such as channel , MAC , Maybelline who have accrued a good reputation over the years, some of those bland are very expensive and are aimed at a specific class of people and the others are more aimed at everyone regardless of your statures.

I aim to grow in my research skills as well as understand how my chosen brand operates, their good and bad, the challenges that have faced and also how they overcame. I will concentrate on there spring /summer collection and were they got there inspiration from. i will also create 2 catwalks looks, 2 editorial looks and 2 advertisements. I will create looks that compliment and also represents my understanding of the brand.





Brands that am interested in looking at:

there are three brand that i am interested in looking at, those include MAC, CHANEL and LONCOME. The reason i am interested in those three is because they are all very different in there own right. what i mean by this, is that they all have different fill. For example
. MAC - its more playfull and encourages their costumers to experiment. This can be seen in there campaign and advertisements
. LONCOME  -  it has a sense of classiness to it thought it is affordable. Loncome targets the working class audience and has developed a reputation through there adverts to be clean and classy.
. CHANEL - its a very high end , with a reputation of classiness and wealth.
